YES! One of my favorites!! I love the “weirdness” of the demo. It’s got an almost outer space feel to it. I love seeing where these songs started and how they ended up. This is awesome.

Thanks Dean! I bounced it down to cassette tape to get that "weirdness" I think you're talking about. Stay weird! xo

Bouncing to cassette I think definitely gave it some character. One of my favorite things to do is bounce to tape. It gives it a nice coloring you can’t get through digital interfaces.

I keep finding myself coming back to this demo. Who Is This Guy is one of my favorite songs of all time, so listening back and fourth between the demo and the studio version, and the community discussion here, it inspired me. The image hit my brain so vividly, I immediately knew I had to draw it! This art is inspired partly by the demo and song and partly how the song was preformed live on The Though Reform Tour. When I met you after the show I told you that you have a halo around you as you preform, I meant it and your stage presence has stuck with me. I'm rarely proud of how my art turns out, but I was so happy with this I wanted to thank you and share it with you!

Wow! Thank you so much for sharing that! I love the artwork. What a wonderful image for the song, I love the worried look on my face! Falling through a sparkling vortex of insecurity??

Wow, that's a beautiful interpretation! For me, towards the end of the song (around the 2:00 mark) feels like a crashing, especially sonically. It feels like a weight falling on you, a wave coming in and sweeping you away. Chaos surounding you and rather than fighting it, you let it thrash you around. "I don't even really want to try," you're not fighting it. When I make art, usually the image hits me, and I don't always know why I made certain artistic decisions until later on, or maybe I never know at all. For this, I realized when I looked at the finished product, it felt like the last moment before the crashing hits. The last moments before everything comes falling down.

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond, it means so much to hear your thoughts! I have a few other Superet art piece ideas bouncing around my head, so maybe I'll share some more in the future!

This is one of my favorite superet songs ever, or even just songs in general, so hearing the origins of it is so cool!!! It sounds almost sci-fi at times. I love the way each line in the verse ends, the slide in the vocals is more dramatic here and prominent. It sounds almost twinkling, I love it!!! Thank you for sharing

Thank you for listening Rei! I'm loving the outer space / sci-fi theme you and Dean are picking up on! And you're so right it is twinkling!
